I've been dreaming for months of backyard barbecues and with spring finally here, I can't wait to get my outdoor space prepped and ready for the upcoming season. But tables, chairs, and everything you need to entertain can add up quickly, and as a new homeowner, I'm on a tight budget. Luckily, a couple of our favorite places to shop for outdoor and patio items are having sales this weekend—The Home Depot and Amazon. Here are three things I'm adding to my cart while they're on sale.

A Wooden Adirondack Chair: I'm a sucker for Adirondack chairs. With their classic design, they make the perfect outdoor seating for summer (and will look great set up around my firepit). A Smart Bird Feeder: I've recently gotten into birding as a hobby, and luckily, where I live we get tons of interesting birds. The only issue is that they're always up high in the trees where I can't see them.
