While it's true you can declutter your home just about any time of the year, January officially marks get organized month. It's a time of new beginnings, and we think a mini-refresh sounds like a great plan to jumpstart 2024. That's why as a shopping editor, I spend hours scanning Amazon for the very best clutter-conquering products to spiff up messy hotspots like crowded kitchen drawers and chaotic bedroom closets. Plus, with the long weekend ahead, many of my faves are on sale. Here are five handy organizers I'm eyeing to tidy up my home:
Wire Baskets: For some serious kitchen reorganization, I like to use wire baskets to get my pantry and countertops back in order after a month of hosting holiday gatherings. Stack these baskets to store everything from potatoes to apples to loaves of bread. Or use them to wrangle a collection of plastic containers or kids' lunchboxes, then hide them behind cabinet doors. Silverware Organizer: For messy kitchen drawers, a fellow editor pointed me to this organizer that's no wider than an iPhone and just over a foot long—and is very popular on TikTok. Use these roomy, fabric bags to fold up bulky jackets and sweaters once the winter freeze is over, or stow away extra fluffy blankets and pillows. I love that these have see-through windows to quickly spot what's inside without having to unzip and shuffle through each bag.
Drawer Dividers: A pro-organizer taught me the benefits of using expandable drawer dividers that lock into place to create zones in your dresser. By neatly dividing your drawers, your socks and tank tops can finally have a dedicated home without crowding your underwear.
Under-Sink Organizer: To tackle bathroom clutter, you can't go wrong with investing in an under-sink organzier, like this trending TikTok hair dryer holder that sticks discreetly on the back of your cabinet door. The three-compartment holder from mDesign fits any cabinetry that's ¾-inches thick, and it comes in several finishes, including chrome, bronze, gray, black, and white.
